What does the USF Logic Model Team Do?

The USF Logic Model Team provides technical assistance for theory of change and logic model development to funded system of care communities at no chare. Our team helps communitites describe their expectations for system change using a method of measurement known as a theory of change. The USF Logic Model project is funded through the CMHI National Evaluation and SAMHSA to provide technical assistance to funded system of care communities at no charge to the communities.

What is a Theory of Change?

A Theory of Change is beliefs that systems, planners, builders, and implementers have about:

  • What children with serious emotional/behavioral challenges and their families need from services/supports in order to thrive in their communities

  • What local strategies will enable these services/supports to become available and meet those needs

What is a Logic Model?

A Logic Model is a tool to describe a theory of change.

What is the SOCPR?

The System of Care Practice Review is a process designed to assess if and to what extent the System of Care core values and guiding principles are practiced by a service system.
