The USF Logic Model Team helps communitites describe their expectations for system change using a method of measurement known as a theory of change.

What is a Theory of Change?

A Theory of Change is beliefs that systems, planners, builders, and implementers have about:

  • What children with serious emotional/behavioral challenges and their families need from services/supports in order to thrive in their communities, and
  • What local strategies will enable these services/supports to become available and meet those needs.

What is a Logic Model?

A Logic Model is a tool to describe a theory of change.
